The dahlia and ranunculus planted 3 weeks ago have begun sprouting. Hooray! The calla lily have also sprouted but the roots are ruined. I’m not sure if they are distressed or not. My beagle dug up the pot at least 3 times in the last week and have destroyed many of the roots. I am waiting on some new pots that I ordered to replant them. Hopefully they make it and produce some beautiful blooms.

They are growing up so fast!

The front walkway to our home is very desolate. It use to be full of weeds and dying herbs. Cam and I pulled up all the weeds and got rid of as much mulch as possible. Now it’s just patches of dirt waiting to be filled with delicious herbs and pretty plants.

For the walkway leading away from the door, I plan on planting some flowers. I already purchased my dinner plate Dahlia bulbs, I’m waiting for my Tecolote Ranunculus bulbs and Calla bulbs. Look at how beautiful dinner plate Dahlias are. And the pastel ranunculus.
Earlier in the week I purchased peat moss pellets and started to sow some plants. After 2 days, I am already seeing sprouts.

After 5 months of living in the home that we purchased, we finally took a huge leap into designing our living room together. We’ve painted 2 rooms but have many more rooms to go. As of now, there are 8 different clashing colors throughout the living room, dining room, master bedroom and 2 bathrooms. We are trying to scale down to a more modern and minimalistic design. We took advantage of the fact that we currently do not have kids, and jumped head on into purchasing a beautiful Italian white leather sofa. Ever since the purchase yesterday, my mind has been in a dizzy, dreaming of designs. So, this morning I finished this mood board.

So excited!
